Can I donate online?
Yes, by clicking the Donate Now button and competing and submitting the form.

Who should I make the cheque payable to?
Cheques should be made payable to Bethesda Home Foundation Inc.

Where do I mail my donation cheque?
Please mail your donation cheque to Bethesda Home Foundation Inc., 3280 Schmon Parkway, Thorold, ON  L2V 4Y6.

Will I receive a tax receipt for my donation to Bethesda?
Yes. Bethesda  issues charitable tax receipts for all donations over $10. Eligible gifts include monetary donations made by cash, cheque, or credit card. Charitable tax receipts are also provided for eligible in-kind donations and planned gifts such as bequests, endowments, RRSPs, RRIFs, or gifts of insurance (enduring property).

I lost my tax receipt – can I have a duplicate receipt mailed to me?
Yes.  Bethesda can issue replacement receipts for original receipts that are lost or contain incorrect information.  To request a replacement copy, please contact us at 905-684-6918 ext. 266.

When will I receive my tax receipt?
If you mailed in your donation, we generally issue receipts within 30 days of receiving the gift. During peak times of giving such as holiday giving season or at our fundraising events (such as Bethesda’s Dinner Auction) receipts may take slightly longer to arrive.

If you made a donation  online, your electronic tax receipt will be emailed to you within 7 business days after your donation has been received.  Please be sure to check your Junk Mail folder if the receipt did not arrive in to your Inbox. If your receipt does not arrive within 24 hours, please contact us at 905-684-6918 ext. 266

For monthly donors, Bethesda will issue donation receipts monthly or quarterly (ensuring receipts are provided for donations over $10).

What is the difference between a Charitable Tax Receipt and a Gift Acknowledgement Receipt?
