WHO is this for?
Bethesda’s Chaplaincy Services are for adults with special needs who are supported within Bethesda’s residential and/or day services programs.
WHAT is provided?
Bethesda’s Chaplaincy Services are responsive to the needs of individuals, families, and staff for prayer, worship, Bible teaching, spiritual counsel, bereavement support and caring relationships. Weekly services are held at Bethesda’s Fly Road Chapel and in the community. Special holiday services are also held in the community and all individuals supported by Bethesda, their families, and staff are invited to attend.

Bereavement Support Services
WHO is this for?
Bethesda’s Bereavement Support Services are for adults with special needs who reside in the Niagara Region who would like to discuss or learn more about issues related to death and dying.
WHAT is provided?
Bethesda’s Bereavement Support Services is provided on an individual basis or as a group. Bereavement Support Group sessions assist individuals in dealing with the grief they are experiencing from the loss of a loved one.
- The “Let’s Talk” sessions teach about death and dying and provide individuals with tools to deal with future losses in a healthy manner.
- All teachings are based on Christian philosophy and are in harmony with biblical Christianity.
- Our Christian belief in life after death is central to this service.
- Participants do not need to be of the Christian faith to participate.
